Lantern Hotel

From the outset, the ZLG Design approach to sustainability involved naturally ventilating all public areas, with optional split air conditioning units provided only in guest rooms. We maximized natural light within the space and ensured cross ventilation both horizontally and vertically through openings in the facade and a vertical void with a gap between the skylight and roof. We utilized locally available and manufactured building materials such as dark burned clay brick, polished colored concrete, terrazzo tiles for the flooring, white lime wash finishes, and natural plywood.
