Niseko Shiki Resort

Friend and client of Vaughn, Low Gee Teong (Datuk), and his wife Yune Ei enjoy skiing in northern Japan. On one trip, they decided to develop a resort on the ski fields of Niseko with the support of their family development group, beginning work during a significant international economic downturn.
Vaughn engaged with DBI to design and document a 76-apartment, studio, and penthouse 'ski-in ski-out' resort with four food and beverage outlets and other facilities. The project was managed from the Kuala Lumpur office in collaboration with local architect Mr. Uehara. Following a successful sale, the property is currently operating as Chatrium Resort.
